Meet the Owners

Kristin and Justin Carns

Justin Carns has been in the automotive industry since 2002. From detailing and collision repair to estimating and managing, he has done it all! Justin continues to thrive in the field of automotive repair by staying up to date on the latest repair techniques and maintaining shop certifications. He and his wife purchased the shop in January of 2024.

Kristin Carns, MS, OTR/L is a licensed Occuaptional Therapist and has been practicing for the past 18 years. She recently took on a new role as Co-owner of ARS Automotive in January 2024. Kristin manages the day to day office responsibilities as well as making sure all of the behind the scenes shop needs are met.

Justin and Kristin are the third owners of ARS Automotive. Dan Frohlich is the founder of ARS (Antiques, Rods, and Specialties) Automotive which started in 1969. His wife, Sean Richards, brought her talents to the shop a few years later along with her daughter LeeAnne. Sean's daughter and son in law, LeeAnne Walko and Chris Walko, took over the business in 2010. Justin began his career at ARS as a detailer then collision technician from 2002-2010 and returned as the Body Shop Manager in 2019. Having a part in this family run business has come full circle for Justin and Kristin and they are proud to be a part of ARS.
